The first training was held in Fier on 13-14 February; on 20 and 21 February in Kukes and on 24-25 February in Durres. Participants were unemployed youth who expressed a willingness to participate and benefit from project implementation. On the first day of the training were presented the topics “Introductory sessions on how to draft a business plan” where young people learned about the functioning of classical business, identifying a business idea, drafting a business plan and the steps that need to be taken to set up a business; Financing the business plan and its registration. During this first session, young people were divided into workgroups based on occupations or vocational training identifying a business idea appropriate to the professions and jointly developing a business plan under the coach’s supervision.
On the second day of training, young people learned about the establishment and functioning of social enterprises. This session covered the topic “Orientation sessions on social business and drafting a social business plan”. Issues addressed in this session were:
-Designing a youth startup project; What is Social Enterprise? ‘Soft skills’ you need to work on a startup project…; 7 guidelines for writing a startup project plan; Risk management; Financial resources; Criteria for successful business startup ideas; Importance of a Business Plan for a Startup; Elements of a Business Plan.
Even in this session young people were divided into working groups where they identified a social business idea and devised a business plan for social enterprises, following the instructions given by the trainers.
