After drafting Analysis, for a three-month period it took place near the district courts of Tirana, Shkodra, Vlora, Korca monitoring of court sessions dealing with issues in various fields (civil, commercial, labor, family, intellectual property, disputes between public administration bodies and private entities, in the criminal field, etc.) in compliance with the provisions of the law on mediation. Monitoring of court hearings will focus on the implementation of the provisions of the Criminal Procedures Code, Civil Procedures Code and Juvenile Justice Code and the law on resolving disputes through mediation regarding the obligation to notify and instruct the parties to resolve disputes through mediation.
In order to collect qualitative data, interviews of judges, prosecutors and intermediaries were conducted, as well as a survey process with citizens parties in court proceedings and beneficiaries of the mediation service. After collecting the data, the Monitoring Report was drafted. The findings identified in the monitoring report will be presented on social networks and an advocacy campaign will be undertaken with the aim of not only making public the findings and recommendations but also encouraging the institutions to implement them.
