In the framework of the initiative "Empowerment of women in the Dibra area and promotion of local products" with the support of GIZ, the project Sustainable Rural Development, together with 60 women and girls of Dibra we conducted two visits in two agro-tourism models set up in the suburban area of this region.
During these visits, the participating women and girls were introduced to the functioning of agritourism and how the knowledge gained during the training activities can be translated into practice.
The hosts of agritourism presented to the women and girls the history of their business, from the initial idea to the establishment and operation of agritourism. The initiative "Empowerment of women in the Dibra area and promotion of local products" aims to establish and operate a business for women and girls which will create a suitable environment for their social change. This project aims to strengthen the economic empowerment of women through the promotion of traditional local agricultural products.
