The general objective of this initiative was to contribute in the strengthening and improvement of the relations between the courts and individuals toward more efficient, transparent and accountable judiciary in Albania. The project also created the first bridges of co-operation between courts and faculties in the interest of consolidating a citizen-friendly practice. In the framework of this objective, were got up close the Tirana District Court and Elbasan, citizens’ information points regarding the court activity, the services provided and the rights and obligations of citizens during legal proceedings. Also, at these information points, students of the Faculty of Law developed activities of public education and the provision of free legal aid.<\/p>\n
