The main purpose of the project was to assess the current situation and readiness for the establishment of the Electronic Building Permit System in Albania and to present recommendations to ensure the best functioning of this system. The assessment consisted in an analysis of the legal and institutional situation as well as the situation in practice, carried out through research and survey process of institutions involved in issuing construction permits and investors (construction companies and individuals).<\/p>\n
