With the support of GIZ Albania, A.L.T.R.I Center has started implementing the project “Monitoring the implementation of social rights of vulnerable groups at central and local level (Kuk\u00ebs, Elbasan, Librazhd and Pogradec)”. Through this project, the goal is to strengthen the monitoring capacities of the People’s Advocate institution towards local government units in implementing the social rights of vulnerable groups. The project also aims to raise the awareness and information of the vulnerable institutions and groups on the social rights enjoyed by the latter. The project is foreseen to be implemented for a period of 12 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Public consultative meeting (Elbasan, Librazhd, Pogradec and Kukes) on the Monitoring Methodology and Evaluation of the People’s Advocate Institution for social services provided by Local Government Units.<\/a><\/h4>\n

In the framework of the project \u201cMonitoring equal distribution of social rights for vulnerable groups at national and local level (Kuk\u00ebs, Elbasan, Librazhd and Pogradec)\u201d, has been drafted the \u201cMonitoring Methodology and Evaluation of the People’s Advocate Institution for social services provided by Local Government Units\u201d. The aim of methodology is to serve as a continuous work tool of the People’s Advocate Institution during the process of monitoring the realization of the social rights of groups in need. In order to have a realistic, efficient and applicable document, they are invited to be involved in the consultation process of the People’s Advocate representative, representatives of the Local Government Unit, representatives of Civil Society Organizations and groups in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

Development of trainings with representatives of the Local Government Unit on the methodology of monitoring and evaluation of social services provided by Local Government Units (Kuk\u00ebs, Elbasan, Librazhd, Pogradec).<\/a><\/h4>\n

In the framework of the project “Monitoring of the equal distribution of social rights for vulnerable groups at national and local level (Kukes, Elbasan, Librazhd and Pogradec)” trainings were held with representatives of Local Government Units in Kukes, Elbasan, Librazhd and Pogradec. The development of trainings aims to enable representatives of the Ombudsman Institution and Local Government representatives to implement the monitoring methodology during their work. Trainings were conducted in three sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n
