In the framework of the project “Monitoring of the equal distribution of social rights for vulnerable groups at national and local level (Kukes, Elbasan, Librazhd and Pogradec)” trainings were held with representatives of Local Government Units in Kukes, Elbasan, Librazhd and Pogradec. The development of trainings aims to enable representatives of the Ombudsman Institution and Local Government representatives to implement the monitoring methodology during their work. Trainings were conducted in three sessions. At the first session where discussed the following issues:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The role of the Ombudsman Institution regarding the protection of the rights of groups in need;<\/li>\n
  2. Current Monitoring Mechanisms;<\/li>\n
  3. Cooperation with Local Government Units (Kukes, Elbasan, Librazhd and Pogradec);<\/li>\n
  4. Discussing the problems and challenges faced in respecting these rights by the Local Government structures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    At the second session was discussed the Implementation of Monitoring Methodology by the Ombudsman Institution in cooperation with LGUs and local partners.<\/p>\n

    At the third session was discussed the implementation of the Methodology in practice for the provision of a certain social service<\/p>\n

    Training module for representatives of the Local Government Units on the methodology of monitoring and evaluation of social services provided by the local government units.<\/strong><\/p>\n
