“A.L.T.R.I Center has started the implemention of the project\u00a0\u201cTeachers on the frontline against radicalization!\u201d with the support of Terre des Hommes in Albania. The aim of this project is to foster teachers\u2019 competence to build resilience against radicalization, detect potential signs of (violent) extremism and engage youngsters. The project is foreseen to be implemented for a period of 10 months in the cities of Tirana, Elbasan and Pogradec.”<\/p>\n

“In the framework of the project \u201cTeachers on the frontline against radicalization!\u201d was drafted a training module for teachers in pre-university, with the conviction that it could support the efforts of teachers working in educational settings.<\/p>\n

More specifically, this training module aims:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To provide information on the concept of violent radicalism and violent extremism, the existing legal framework, national and international, as well as social factors;<\/li>\n
  2. The role of education in preventing violent extremism;<\/li>\n
  3. The role of media and technology;<\/li>\n
  4. Managing the classroom discussion and key messages to deliver.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
